Default rebuild for built

Hello all! I recently purchased a 94 sclb pretty much stock except for plate mod on the pump. This is my fifth cummins but first 12 valve. Anyways after picking it up i took it home moved the starwheel and low boost screw and watched the timing in 40 minutes video (did it in 3 hours ) to what I am pretty sure is 16.5 and boom went the dynamite driving like i stole it. Now that i have that out of my system i am planning on a rebuild. I have not pulled it down yet, but if by chance it needs rings and pistons i will do a full rebuild. I have never rebuilt a cummins but i am pretty handy in then mechanical sense. So with that said i have compiled a parts lists that is open for adjustment. I am open to thoughts and suggestions good or bad i have a end goal of 500 to 550 hp clean as possible . I am not worried about that awesome chrysler automatic as i am ordering a suncoast coverter and valve body and rebuild kit with full billet parts Starting with fuel big line kit sump pickup and airdoggII 165gph,delivery valves i havent decided yet but with a 160 pump i am postive they will have to be changed, injectors ddp 90 hp injectors , turbos will consist of i am lost on them but s363 12 cm housing gated if they make such a critter and s475 on bottom and a hamiltion cam to top it off forgot the numbers on will find them later. arp studs and mods to the pump 4 gsk kit I will also fill out my sig the truck has 225k on the clock and leaks a lot but she is mine now.Sorry for the long winded speech feel free to beat me up thank you for your time and knowledge

Very slow ! Haha , had to deal with some unfortunate events with a company on timely delivery on some parts I am still waiting on them and cannot back out of the company will remain nameless. now for the good stuff. I purchased some 150 lb valve springs,4 gsk kit and a few other items I am waiting on. I decided to run the stocker on top with a 14 cm housing and port the gate on i got the housing gated for next to nothing, I am still undecided on injectors but when I do they will be DAP injectors after reading so much and he took the time to talk to me i feel like that is the vendor i like for the job. Anyhoo when i pulled the head and finally got my valve spring compressor i pulled the springs and almost everyone of valve guides appeared to be washed out not like worn out but washed out like a bad casting ? I called a few local shops and the best price i could come up with was 1600 bones !!! for them to do valve guides valves and springs that i didn't want . so i called pdp and got set up with a built head from them more money but it has everything and o rings on a new casting (great company btw) so that is it. Waiting on my head but garret informed me on the wait so i have zero issue with that. so timing is still 16.5 and need more input and advice

Sounds like after the new stuff gets installed you will have a better platform to tune from, at this point ... its almost oneof those we can guess and you will chace a little here and there...
