I know it comes up from time to time and nobody really gives a straight answer on it.

When you pull your pump and have it benched what exactly are they changing/tuning and could any old dough head do it (with the proper tools of course)


Its a long way to have my pump shipped to a shop that can tinker on it!

 

What exactly do they change????
Both of mine when done were torn completely down to piles of parts and then reassembled back together with parts my pump man wanted inside.What all he changed I am not sure as its his deal not mine.I know both of my 913 pump had the retarding barrels and plungers in them which are not the best for power,what he installed back into the pumps I was told I didn't need to know and trust him.It really depends on what you and him decide on for what you want to do is what will be changed to suit your needs.

I said this in another thread and will repeat it here...
Once you go to having your pump done by someone who knows what they are doing and have it stand tested,you will never regret the time it took to have it done or the cost.....Andy

 

As much as i would love to send my pump out to be tinkered with, i just cant do without wheels for a month!
