Default triples trouble and twin questions.

I'm taking a break from working on my triple setup and started thinking. Would it work if you put a s470 under an hx35 that had the waste gate hole drilled out. Would it spool quick and be capable of around 500hp worth of air

why would you remove the wastegate? You mean that had the wastegate welded?

No. I drilled out the turbine divider and made the waste gate hole bigger so it would flow more and flow from all 6 cylinders not just the back three.

that makes no sense. So you're leaving the waste gate open to divert gas AROUND the turbine, instead of through it?

Drilling out the divider just impedes flow with added turbulence....

maybe I'm just misunderstanding...

It still has the flap and works like stock. I was doing research and found some posts About triples that say to drill through the Divider where the waste gate flows.

. Ah. So you just mean porting and radius'ing the waste gate. Got ya.

As for the divider. I doubt that. ;]

Ah... ok ok. Now I understand what you meant. From what I thought you were saying, is that you tried to drill/hog out the septum to try and mimick a T3 housing. You are just trying to Wastegate cylinders 1-3 as well.

Understood.
