allison auto tranny
I bought a 96 freightliner today with the 12v 5.9l cummins in it.
Its my new tow-rig/rv and I would like to crank the power up a little but Im wondering how the 6speed allison handles extra power?
Does it have the same TC and VB issues as the dodge trannys? everyone I know with a cummins goes Jasper trans and never looks back... neccesary in my case?
