Default Super b? Or which single

New to this forum well read a lot but first post. Trying to decide which turbo I want. I have a 97 p pumped 4bt. I know it's not a 12 valve but they are very similar. Right now the bosch dealer is cutting the valves, 4kgsk , and bench flowing. I have 5x12's. And stock head bolts for now. My parts dealer is trying to talk me into going with a super b turbo. Which would probobly be awesome if I could get it spooled up. Not sure if my 4 cylinders will spin a 14cm exhaust housing up or if it will be way to laggy. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Going in a standard cab 97 powerstroke. Was going to do a half ton but I got a good deal on it and it's got heavy duty enough trans and axles allready in place. I really just need to know if this thing will get a super b to light. Or do I need something smaller?

i think you will definately need to go smaller, unless you get more fuel... and then it will be VERY hot !

i ran a super B for quite some time on a relativly stock 6bt and it was noticably slower to spool over the stocker. i would definatly look into other options for your little 4bt. dont 4bt's come with hx30's or something? do you know the specs of the original turbo so we can get you a little closer guess. its not the housing size that is going to kill you, its the wheel sizes that will throw the monkey wrench.

no i dont it came on a pallet with an old H1c with a 16cm exhaust housing. i know i wont use that. id like to find something similar to super b but scaled down for my 4b. any suggestions. maybe an hx35? not sure. the bosch dealer aacts like ill have way to much fuel for needs. but reading similar mods to most of your 6b's doesnt seem like you guys are having trouble cleaning up your smoke

4bt had an hx30 on them, its a pretty small turbo. An hx35 would be a decent upgrade, or even an he351

What about a used wh1c ? Little shaft play, drilled divider 3/4". I'll sell it pretty cheap. Similar specs to an hx35. 56/58/12 I think. If it only made more usable boost for what I want. It's In good shape I'm just getting ready to upgrade to something a little bigger now that I have more fuel.
