Default Crank questions

I got along block for cheap and was gonna build it up slowly. And was wandering will it change anything putting a 6.7 crank in it.

372 cubic in with a standard bore. you would have to mill off the top of the pistons to make it work.

So would a newer wouldn't really give you that much more displacement then?

To get the 6.7 displacement one would have to also bore the block to 4.200 and run aries or ross pistons.

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.

keep in mind that to bore out to 4.200 is a .180" bore increase on a 5.9 block

yes it is possible but i wouldnt do it in a street engine because the cylinders will start getting thin since the 5.9 passes water between the cylinder and the 6.7 block is soild between them. yes aries and ross make piston and ring sets up to atleast 4.250" that i know of. if you really want a 6.7 12v i would suggest using a 6.7 block. otherwise the slight increase in displacment from the crank only wouldnt be worth the extra cost of buying a 6.7 crank and having the pistons machined off.
