I know this question has been asked a lot, but I just cant decide on what to get. my stock turbo does well( i think atleast) i can cruise at 70 mph with 8lbs of boost and my egts right around 700*. My question is what else do i need to do to make atleast 400 hp and lower my egts. my egts now rise fast...very fast. if i dont pay attention i can hit 1600 easily and higher. i would like to stick with my stock injectors if possible, im just looking for a turbo that will spool a little quicker, lower my egts, like to stick around $1500, and hopefully get me to 400hp (if possible). ive been looking at some 62/65/12s but theres just so many out there and everybody has a different opinion about each one. hopping someone has had some good luck with a certain turbo and wouldnt mind posting a link.

 

Timing and injectors will help you get to 400hp real quick! But adding those will also raise your EGTs quite a bit... Twins will help you out big time with egts
