Default fuel plate adjustment

jst ordered a #8 fuel plate and not sure which way to adjust it for more power because ive read both ways. i always thght it was away from the firewall for more power but jst read its toward it so idk u guys tell me. plz and ty

So, on the tamper proof bolt, will it break if you try to remove it if your AFC housing has never been off? Ive been told that if you just chisel a place into it for a flat head screwdriver, you can just take it right out.

either that or just break it off with a chisel... or latch onto it with some vice grips

I used a straight small pry bar and hit it with a hammer to give it a flat head indent then used my flat head impact driver and tapped it to break it loose... mine was a b**** to loosen that y i used my impact driver to shock it loose..

make a flat head spot for it. and also slide that plate all the way to the front
