Default Taking off on 2nd gear?

Truck seems to be taking of on 2nd gear when its hot out. Wont do it at night, if i put it in 1sr gear manually its fine. if i leave it normal in drive it wont downshift to 1st gear when i stop. And it will take off on 2nd, many people have told me its my 1st gear solinoid? anyone heard of it?
