Default Not impressed with the Smarty

About a month ago i got a brand new Smarty PoD for my 05 dodge cummins. I put it in and noticed more power, but my mileage is terrible. I had a superchip in it before and i got a lot better mileage with that. I so far have had the smarty on level 2, 3, 4, and 5, and my average mileage is from 10-14. I'm really new to it, so do you guys have any ideas what i should do?

Where are you running your POD at? Adjust your options with timing and rail press. bumped, Id also bump torque management. Set whatever tune you want. Then you can play with the pod to help mileage. Usually when pod is around 30 or 40 it gives me a pretty good bump in mileage but, you can play with it to see where you like it best.

Ya i drive it decent, almost baby it actually. And the mileage i figured was when filling up at the pump and doing the math on how many miles i put on the tank of fuel. Its still in that 10-14 range.

#5 at 75 POD will net you 20+mpg How does it run? Smoke or stutter? Auto or stick? All city or freeway or? filter clean both air and fuel? tire size? That milage is way bad and not normal! So fill in the blanks!

After reading dangerous's post...you've got me nervous. I too am getting bad mileage compared to what I was hoping/expecting. I've had my truck for over a year now and seen an increase from what it had when I originally got it but still not what I was hoping for.

I have the Smarty PoD with TNT Revo...mine's set on level 7 really only for the smoke because my truck still has a stock transmission. I'm running 35" Toyo MT's with both a 3" BL and leveling kit. I have an AFE CAI with a brand new filter, I replaced the fuel filter with a Baldwin back in November and also adjusted the valves less than a month ago. My truck is usually between the 1500-1800 RPM range and never sees over 2K, but I still only average about 420-430 miles a tank after fill up with mostly city and back roads driving and some added highway here and there.

Any ideas? Should I be worried about internal problems?
