You deffinate want a rail pressure. I have Di Pricol's going in when I have the time. Perfect match to the 3G dash panel. Here is a POOR POOR pic at night.

Not to hijack, but a person I know of on another Diesel site has.... 17 gauges total in his 7.3 PSD.... Some say overkill, some think its plain cool. I am the latter. He's got a night time pic and the driver side/center of cab is just awesome looking...

By saying this, I by no means think anyone needs that many gauges in my honest truth.

in some cases alot are good. I've got a buddy that has all the basics then F/R diff temps, drive pressur, intake temp, and some others I cant remember. If you plan on running it hard you can never run out of stuff to monitor, and as stated above I think they look cool.

Hey guys, when using the dash pod, do you have to drill holes in the dash? Also, does it cover up the one vent? I think when I add more gauges that will be my best avenue. Thanks again.

FWIW, Iv got an 05 auto and 3.73 gearing, and shortly after getting it, I had a pyro and boost installed.
After tomorrow Ill have a FP added to the pillar and a tranny temp on the steering column.
Dont plan to add anything to the engine so I think Iv got all the bases covered with the gauges.

Out of curiousity, would a rail pressure be needed with a stock engine?

On an automatic I would say that you need - Trans, Boost, FP, RP, EGT; on a manual - Boost, FP, RP, EGT. Just my .02
