Thanks guys for your info, one more question though,
how can I tell if the injectors are stock? Will I have to pull them
all the way out or will there be an indication on the top of them

ATF was not made to burn. Do not use it in any Eng to burn. It did help out older Eng with sticking valves lifters when put in the oil. I run a summer mix of Howe's Diesel Treat all the time and 1/2 oz of out board motor oil per gal witch was meant to be used to lube the engine. When my truck new the fuel was 500 PPM now it is 15 PPM so it does not lube as good that is why I use out board oil. From 07 up you do not need out board oil.

I just adjusted the valves on my 03. Some were out pretty bad. Im puffing a little white smoke every once and a while, but truck is running smooth at any rate. Any ideas on what to use that is good at cleaning out the vales and head? I've been running Power Service gray bottle for years, but wondered if anyone knew of a better product or mixture.

Hook up to a 3-6K loaded trailer or put 3K in the bed along with a good dose of PS, Howe's in the tank and run it non stop for a few hours that will heat up the EGT to help clean out carbon build up on valves, injectors and piston tops.
