I am looking at an 04 quad cab, short bed, 45,000 miles, super clean truck, salvage title, wrecked lightly, tree fell on it. All it needs is a roof skin, two doors, a hood and fender. I own a large body shop so repair is no issue, the seller is asking 14,700. Just wondering if it is worth the money and if I should be able to make money after repairing it. Thanks

 

You know what it's going to cost to replace the sheet metal. If I had the resources, I buy, fix it up, and keep it as a back-up vehicle.

 

I'm not sure yet, going to write an estimate on it tomorrow. I hoping to fix it for around 3500-4000.

 

10 grand, just because of the salvage title. Not many people are interested in owning a salvage. If you are into it for 14 total, then you may be able to make a profit....but doubt it.

 

Salvage titles in Missouri sell really well actually. Especially in our small town, the money you save on a nice salvage titled vehicle compared to getting raped at a New/Used lot draws a lot of buyers.
