Are there any adjustments I can make to my stock 05 cummins 5.9 24 valve

are you looking to add performance parts or just keep it stock and make adjustments that way?

Im with Luke... Smarty Junior and a exhaust will help you out. Unless you want the stock exhaust then just do the smarty junior

I've heard of some guys taking the muffler off of the exhaust, would that mess anything up

not much you can do without having to spend some money, tuner, exhaust, intake, etc. the tweaking on these trucks is all in changing the ecm tuning
