I have an 04 dodge 3500 4x4 with the 5.9 cummins and a six speed manual recently it started cutting out and has a almost backfire pop and when this happens it blows alot of smoke to the extent that u can't see anything at all behind you. Now it only does this at a certain point during exceleration before and after it runs fine. I have changed all fuel and air filters and my fuel pressure accuator and nothing has worked. Also I noticed that if I red line it in second when I first take off it seems to run fine but if I sit at a itle or shut it down it will act up again. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
