Default Severe Wobble

My truck has the death wobble very bad, will a new trac bar fix it?

That depends on if the trac bar is causing it. Get under there and diagnose the front end - joints, bushings, shocks, alignment, everything. Then replace all the parts that need replacing.

Trac bar is definitely a major cause of death wobble! But like Nadir said... The rest of the front end being bad will cause a death wobble as well!

mine was caused by bad tie rod end my buddies was from bad shock bushings and the shocks had less then 1000 miles so start by whats stated above

its been to the shop and had the bearings replaced and a couple tie rods like 1200 dollars worth of stuff and it still wobbles, its not like a little wobble i have to slow down to like 30mph in order for it to stop my whole front end goes side to side so i am goin to get a trac bar and see if it fixes it

Just a few ?s: How many miles on it? Have the BJ's ever been replaced? And does it have leveling pucks installed?

it has 96000 on it and the ball joints have been replaced recently, but the wobble is terrible it left like u shape marks in the road

Good luck with this problem, just put upper and lower ball joints in my 04 longbed, and it got worse!!! And more frequent!!!

Looks like I've got some play at the inner drag link, at the pitman arm. And for some reason, it looks like the arm is loose at the sector shaft. Any ideas?
