Default 04 engine rust

Im looking to buy a 04 cummins and I found that the engine block is rusty along with turbo. I didnt know what wouldd cause that or if its anything to be concerned about?

I would check with car fax to see if it has been under water! Or it could came from some place that uses salt on the roads.

When my VP went out, my 2nd gen sat for 2 months, and man did my motor rust. I was surprised, 2 months of sitting, and it looked like sh@t.

my engines rusty too from all the salt on the roads. its not something to hugely worry about unless its gona completely fall apart haha
