I want to put the CB out of my old Ford in the 03 but I dont really see a good place to do it? Where do you guys have yours mounted at? Pics would be nice too!!

I mounted my CB like the above picture, but here are two more choices that I considered.

I don't have a CB personally.
My father in law mounted his (in an 01) using a homemade design like the first one sold by Geno's. He has it under a plexiglass box (with a hinged door) that also houses several aux switches and an aux power outlet.

Works pretty well from what I can tell.

i seen a pic before that someone mounted it in the driver side door in the little cubby.they also had a external speaker so he could hear it also.

 

FWIW, I mounted mine on the right side of the steering column and the center counsel.

Do the Genos ones make it hard to get into your center console? Or under the seat?
