Default remove the airbox

can you remove the tube from the airbox to the turbo, but leave the airbox there because the o2 Sensor or would it suck stuff into the turbo.

Do you propose leaving the front of the turbo open, allowing it to intake unfiltered air?

no tryin to put a smaller filter right on the turbo

I think installing a smaller filter is going to be counter productive in your plan.

ya thats wat i was thinkin what about removin that can lookin thing that is in that tube and just put a pipe there it looks like that could slow the air down some

Several people will gut the intake tube which is what you are talking about. also you can do a bhaf which is a new air filter and tubes pretty cheap to do.

I think that is not a good thing to do. That will smoke your eng later on.
