Sensor found loose laying on the turbo?

Default Sensor found loose laying on the turbo?

Im new to the cummins ive been a ford man but wised up but i was under the hood and i found a sensor just laying around its laying next to the turbo and cant reach far but the is a spot pluged on the block where i think it goes

Where do you think it goes? Oil, exhaust gases, coolant?

looks like maybe exhaust but dont know for sure

Not the electronic waste gate is it? Not real sure.

that would be the electronic wastegate sensor, alot of people leave them plugged in after thay put a different turbo on to avoid check engine codes. ( i would reccomend zip tie it out of the way)

I guess its an after market turbo then maybe thats why my truck is so fast thanks for the help guys

It would most likely be left plugged in so no codes appear.
