Default Battery go boom!...

Mine climbed to around 18 and set cel off then all of a sudden it went back to normally and about a week later went to jump a lawn mower off and noticed them missing. Load test the battery and it was better than the other one that didn't blow. Also I kinda find it wierd both mine and his were the passenger side batteries. Also mine were bought new first of April

I had replaced the Other one bout month ago. It went out week after my water pump went to crap. So it was the stock one that's been there since 06. The original battery terminal had cracked so I had to get another crappy connection that you stick the huge wire in and then clamp it down. It's a crappy way. I think that end the positive one slid out and maybe it just over done the battery then it really blew. Idk. I'm just hoping everything is ok. The voltage went couple past 14 now so I guess it charged up some now. Thanks for yalls help.

If they are maintenance free can't check them but if they are regular batteries good idea to check the water once in a while when they dry out fumes happen and it may spark and BOOM! A bad connection will have the alt charge just one battery and cause an over charge so battery maint. is very important! Clean all the posts every couple of months at least! you can buy the melt in terminals and torch the ends into molten solder works great and really easy to do!
