Valve adjustment?

I'm getting ready to adjust my valves and was wondering if the valve cover gasket is reusable since it has all the wires and crap thanks in it for the injectors.

The valve cover gasket is a single piece, and as noted reusable...the rocker box gasket has all the wires your referring to...you should not need to disassemble the rocker box unless its leaking.

Ok so I can take it all off as one peice and the gasket is reusable, thanks for the info !! :tu:

Why are you adjusting the valves? Already have a 100k on that truck! WOW!!

KingCopa 06-14-2011 03:59 PM

Yup, just got 100k miles so I figured better do it to stay on top of the maintenance so it last several 100 thousand more !!
