COOLANT LEAKING OH crud!!!!!
Well I've been posting alot lately!! It seems I have a coolant leak !! I was changing my front diff oil as part of routine mnt when I saw a slight amount of coolant on the front of the engine near the oil pan!! Well I took it too the dealer and they said they pressure checked it all in about 15 minutes!! They could not find any thing even after I showed them the where it was coming from !! I took it too a trusted local independent and we both looked with his flashlite and it looks like a possible head gasket!! I go in next tuesday thank God I bought a extended warranty thru my credit union they have already paid for a new injection pump and frt axle ujoints and they claim that this is a covered repair !! The dealer claimed I had the wrong coolant in it just by the color of it !! I bought it at 49,000 it now has 83,000 on it!! Hope the dealer is wrong and I hope its under the warranty I paid for!! Wish me luck!!! Jeff

COOLANT LEAK
I thought it might be but its coming from right side of the front of the motor by the water neck where the upper raditaor hose is!! I guess by the valve cover and down where the head mates too the block!! But the guy at the warranty company said I bought the good plan so it should be covered!! I wonder are the head bolts the one use kind or not ?? And how much for a head stud kit??? thanks for yours and everyones concern this is the best site for advice just plain support!!!

COOLANT LEAK
Well it looks like it was leaking from upper rad hose in between the braiding in the hose !! so Im going too replace the upper and lower hoses and flush the system . I bought 4gals of coolant from dodge and the hoses so going too tackle when the lower comes in sometime tomorrow!! I understand it holds 7 gals of antifreeze so 3.5 gals coolant 3.5 gals of distilled water should be good!! I had too pay a shop to tell me this!! At least they knew what they were doing ,I think I could have figured it out if I hadn't been in such a hurry to get it fixed last week I was super busy so I didn't take the time too investigate it myself! OH well it only cost me $63.00 to diagnose it and another 100.00 to do the flush and new hose's myself!!
