Alternator Rebuild?

I bought a new alternator from Nations, 160A Denso replacement for the OE Bosch. It was a direct bolt in with only one slight modification to the B+ Terminal (removed a indexing tab with a set of wire cutters). It works great!
The pictures tell the tale...I bought a new alternator because I had read where some of the high-mileage alternators had literally worn out and needed other parts besides bearings and brushes. Mine's not too bad, I caught it before it actually failed...it was still working fine, decided to rebuild because of the miles on it (245,000 miles). So I'll rebuild it and either keep it as a spare, or sell it for what I got into the brushes.

Because I couldn't have the truck down more than a day to replace/rebuild that alternator...I wasn't taking the chance the alternator was not able to be rebuilt.
