You might want to look into a cold air intake and either straight pipe your exhaust or a free flow muffler (depending on your noise preference) to help it breath better. Since you upped the fuel, the CAI will allow you to get the a little better power from it and it'll be better for your motor. I don't know for sure but I think the stock size for 06 exhaust is 4" so that should be plenty big unless you want get hotter with mods past the edge. But IMO 5" would be the way to go even if it's not necesary. Either way if you open up your exhaust it should help with your egt's. Good luck!

Oh and if you want to go past the basic air intake/exhaust, you could look into water methanol injection. It helps to lower your egt's plus it'll give you a little boost in power. I don't know a enough about its specs to give you all the info on it but I'm sure there's some guys on here that are running it that could help you out if you're interested.

im ordering a 5 inch exhaust with a high flow mbrp muffler then ill proly get a banks ram air intake and a cfm intake horn. is banks worth getting or is it overrated for the price? what is the best cold air intake? and iv heard of people stacking chips? is that posible? i would figure they would interfere with eachother

As far as the cold air intake I have an S&B intake for my second gen and I love it. The construction and fit & finish on the kit is as good as I have seen. They are very resonably priced and offer deals if you order a cold air kit with an intake elbow. Check em' out S&B filters.
