Default Valve Body

Hey fellow Bombers, Any thoughts on installing a performance valve body on a transmission with 130K miles. My 06 Ram has 130K miles of realitively easy use, I'm having shuttle shift issues between 1st & 2nd, the bands were adjusted and the factory soleniod pack was replaced at 100K, the fluid has been changed every 30K. Would the higher pressures generated by the valve body hurt the older internals of my 48RE?

Shouldn't hurt it! More pressure will help! Do you have a TQ already? If not make it a priority! Few other small parts that would help call Dave at Goerend he'll fill you in!

I did this on an 01 I had and the increased line pressure blew out the old worn out seals.

Yeah if your Overdrive clutch pac is worn you could blow out the O.D. piston seal but if that happens you were due for a rebuild anyway! And it's easy to pull the tail off!
