The CR injectors can easily go +400k with adequate filtration. Its a crap shoot with factory filters. Some of us have good luck and get 200k or more. Others waste them before 50k, a lot depends on the fuel quality of what you put in the tank.

The Glacier Diesel filtatrion kit adds a 2 micron filter between the factory filter housing and CP-3. About the best way to ensure long fuel system life.

Not 2 um absolute though, something like 5-7 absolute. Plus the water seperation is not as good as the OE unit.

A friend of mine has over 490,000 on a 04 and still has all 6 stock injectors and the truck uses the stock fuel filter. my 06 had 100,000 miles when I traded it off all i used was stock fuel filters and I never had any problems.

I have 120k on my stock injectors. All my friends with Dodges (04.5-07 5.9's) have stock filtering and injectors with a range of 60k to 151k. Not a single problem. Mine was acting up but it was bad fuel, good as new. I'm not saying the stock filtering is good but I AM saying it's not ALL doom and gloom.

The best fuel filter to use in the stock canister is the Baldwin PF 7977 its 5 micron absolute.
