2004.5 dodge cummins?
#11
Here's what has failed on mine: (130,000 miles)
Mine has 35" tires and a lift kit since new
2 Lift pumps - original plus the the in-tank one, now I have a FASS
front drive shaft both the front ujoint and also the CV joint at the transfer case (changed whole shaft when the CV let loose)
front axle ujoints - mine were almost falling apart
twice on the long Tie rod supplied with the crappy pro comp lift kit.
changed the crappy procomp shocks once (need them again)
Gearcase gasket - can be seen as leak at front of oil pan
Speedometer sensor failed
I am also starting to see some blowby in the engine, I haven't measured it yet (there is a way to measure this - somewhere on this site). The annoying part is when it is warmed up and left park you can smell it around the truck and when you come to a stoplight. It is not visible but the smell is there. If the truck is warm after a short highway trip (and still running) check the draft tube under the engine to see how much blowby is coming out. The draft tube is on the side of the engine beside the oil pan rail.
thats my 2 cents
