been havin problems with heater cores failing, and long story short it dumped about a gallon of coolant in the cab of my truck, i set the hvac unit out to dry for about 2 days and shampoo th carpets and tried leaving the heat on and still everytime i turn the heat or a/c on i still get a hint of coolant smell in my truck. any ideas on how to get rid of the odor?

 

how did you end up fixing this, I guess I got lucky and the pink stuff hardly smelled, didn't loose a gallon though, maybe a qt

 

alot of time with shampoo and replacing the carpet pad underneather!!!!
