will the mirrors of the 2011 fit on an 2006 the tow mirrors are the ones i am talking about

 

You know; this is a great idea! Will have to do some checking around and see. . . . (And will have to find some. Retail on the tow mirror for the '06 is a lot!! It would seem that the new ones might be even more since they are so much nicer. . . . )

 

you can find the 3rd gen tow mirrors pretty cheap on ebay or genos or something along those lines...

 

the reason i want them is to have the convexed piece of glass at the bottom instead of having them flipped out i dont like the way it looks the only time i flip mine up is when i am towing so thats the reason i would like to get the new mirrors for my truck any input would be greatly appriciated

 

so i guess no one knows he answer to this yet or it just fell off

 

The 3rd gen mirrors only fit 2003-2009 trucks. The doors are different on the 2010/2011 trucks.

 

what about just the mirror not the whole assembly any body think it will work
