Default Should I upgrade my tranny?

Should I upgrade my whole tranny or just parts of it? If so what parts and what kind? The reason I ask is because I want to put different injectors!

Depends on how many miles you have on the truck. If your miles are low you could do a Suncoast Valve Body and Suncoast Triple Disc Converter. If its higher miles do the same but then have the trans rebuilt using a Suncoast Extreme Rebuild Kit.

Ok thanks for the help man! I am new to the diesel game so any info helps me! Before this truck I had a 2005 hemi! Now I have like 83k on my truck...... Is that a lot of miles for this tranny?

Depends on how the trucks been treated. Heavy Towing? Highway Miles?

I want to get more horsepower and torque so I can eventually drive it on the track a few times! As far as how it has been treated.... It has mostly highway miles and not to many miles with towing!

I would just do the whole thing. Go through all that trouble and have to take it backout because the insides are wearing out

So you don't just recommend rebuilding it?
