Default no start

i have a 03 3500 dodge 24 valve truck. It runs great when it finally starts. will not start on its own hot or cold. one half squirt of starter fluid and it fires and runs immediately with a great idle, no smoke, and starts again if you start it within 10 min.

so let me revise this, that thread was actually my boss cuz I offered to get him involved on a forum because we are truly stumped. It is an 03, turn the key to the on position, appears to be cycling you could spend half the day turning it over an it won't start. plugged in the block heater for 45 minutes made no difference whatsoever. replaced both batteries as they were factory batteries and replaced with brand new interstates, tried a new crank sensor, still no luck, cracked the main line on the injector rail, began to turn it over and some beach has fuel pressure, did not get an actual reading on how much fuel pressure, but it appeared to have enough to fire. I know that the boss has tested the grid, the 03 has a grid right? we called down to a diesel outfit, pointed us in the direction of putting an OHM meter on it, my understanding is that it all checked out, so yeah when it starts it runs like a top, its just getting it to start, we are aware that starting fluid is a no-no, but use it sparingly were talking like less than half a squirt I am not super savvy with cummins diagnosis so some help would be appreciated, point us in another direction even if it means kicking a tire three times while pissing and hulahooping at the same time.

Replace the injectors. Sounds like your return flow You can get them tested if you want to. Also your prv may be leaking by. Temp plug it and see if that helps BUT put it right back in! Talk to Todd at T&C diesel!! Just google him!
