Default power board steps

the power board steps on my truck just quit working they were making a groaning noise when they would come down and when u stepped on them now they have just completely stopped.. any suggestions please..thanks

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? That always seems to work and they could send you replacement parts if needed. Hopefully it just a bad ground or something.

The motors are known for going. If they stop working completely and for no reason its the brain, if you heard a noise before they gave you a problem its the motor. Are they both not working or just one?? If so reverse the plugs in the brain and see if it helps and if not then the brain went.

both of them are not working. when they went out the pass. stayed up and the drivers dropped just about 1/4-1/2 the way down and stuck like that..we took them off now cause it was hanging down and looked stupid
