when motor is warmed up it idles fine runs fine if i hit the accelerator real fast it makes like a rod noise if i do it slow it dont make no noise.No check engine light no difference in power.Trck just turned 101,000 miles.no perfomance parts at all.

 

Maybe a valve adjustment issue or a injector starting to go bad? Just some thoughts, sort of difficult to diagnose without being there...
