Default exhaust ?

Hey iv got a buddy with almost the exact same truck as mine 07 5.9 cr and instead of spending the extra cash and buyin a good exhaust he went and got some pipe and is about to straight it himself. my only question is is it gonna throw somethin outa wack if he cuts off the dpf? thanks guys and someone hurry if this is a prob so i can let him know before he fs up

get some form of "muffler" because texas requires one now.

yeah i told him that but he dont listen!! i feel like a dumba?? the 07 5.9 has no dpf just a cat and muffler wow i need to go back to bed!!

yeah i was told the fine is like 5k for no muffler plus the last shop that inspected it is fine around the same and the lose the abality to inspect.

as far as a homemade exhaust it shouldnt cause any trouble for the engine i dont think.
