when i hit bumps, my tailgate makes a loud thud/clunk.

i noticed that the passenger side hinge is missing something where it connects to the truck. it appears to be metal on metal, where as, the drive side seems to have a bushing or something supporting the hinge.

make any sense?

 

Yeah I have the same problem! I believe the dealer can help us both out!

 

i'll stop by dodge today and let you know what they say.

Dude at dodge said the part will work on either side, but i found this while searching for the part online:
Part 55276076AC (right side), 55276077AB (left side).

i paid $9 at the dealer...
