Default dead at the pizza shop

OK boys here's one for you! I drove 50 miles and it took 5 gallons! Then I pull into the pizza shop parking pick up a pizza and no start! Hook up my smarty and it won't communicate Constantly trying to connect but no go! As a last resort I disconnected the batteries let it sit 10 minutes and reconnected it and it started?!! Any ideas out there!? I'm sure the milage drop is a side effect of whatever went wrong?!

Man I hope not! I'm cleaning all the grounds and taking it from there! Seems to run fine now!

Yeah she's running fine now! Glad I was at the pizza joint when this happened Had to sit down and think about it While enjoying a slice! I work 50 miles away and of course the wife called and asked me to swing in for dinner! I really hated that feeling when your ride doesn't start!

Your truck is probably too new for this to be the answer but on the older trucks (24V) broken body grounds cause all kind of weird issues.

Hopefully it will stay fixed.
