The gentleman who owned my truck before me(04.5 3500 4dr dually 4wd) is an absolute nut about maint and upkeep.At 359xxx k miles,it was cleaner and nicer than anything I could find at any mileage here locally.I now have around 399k miles on it with no problems.I told him if he ever sells another tocall me.Well,he did.Its the identical truck as mine with 402,000 and very nice with all records.He was very honest on our first transaction.He told me this truck will need ball joints soon but was otherwise fine.The interior looks almost new.Is $9500 too much? I drove it,runs like it should and shifts same.No mods and tires willl need replaced in 10k or so.It has pulled campers since day one. Thanks for your input.

 

well since it needs a few things i would shoot for a little lower even tho he was very honest there is still a time coming when you will have to invest and if you can get it for a little less then thats money in the bank for something else....thats a **** load of miles. gotta love those cummins

 

Thank you for the input.Its in the driveway.I didnt need it,I called him back and offered $9k and got it.I know thats a lot of $$ for a lot of miles but...I cant afford new.I havent priced new,but figure thats about 1/4 price.He even put 5 gal of Rotella and 2 new filters in the bed.
