So yesterday I got a wild hair up my *** and decided that I was going to install the Trans-Go shift kit I bought that has been sitting in my living for over a month now. Well let me tell you this was the first time I broke into a transmission and let me tell ya it will be the last time I do it alone. So now for the bad stuff, I left the truck in neutral and when i got the valve body put back together the truck said it was in 2. Now I have to manually put the truck in park through the linkage in the valve body and when I can put the truck in park, reverse and neutral and everything lines up with the valve body. But once I go to drive the linkage sticks and I can only go down to 2 and 1 but can't get up to neutral reverse or drive. Not sure what I did but I sure did a good job huh. Oh and the truck won't start in park but will start in reverse and neutral, yeah figure that one out. So anyone who has any experience with valve body I could sure use some help...obviously. Worst part is half way through taking the valve body apart I got cold feet and started putting it back together. The shift kit is no longer on my floor but in my truck.....the passenger seat that is!

 

This is why I don't mess with Shift Kits and just do Valve Bodys.
