I have desided that my injectors are going. i contacted the dodge dealership near me, asking about replacing them under warranty, and they told me it would be 4300 to 4800 and the truck is out of warranty by time. i thought they had 100k from cummins and time was not an issue? i did just get the lift pump replaced to months ago so why was that covered? are these guy being sleezy and trying to get me to pay?

 

Your warranty ended last April. It's 5 years AFTER the date of manufacture or 100,000. Which ever is soonest.

 

wow bad timming. shoulda got an extended warrenty, im going to have to fix it out of pocket. I will be buying another 12valve ASAP F*%cK These new trucks they are for ritch people.

 

Well if you get Dodge to put the injectors in, they do come with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty,

 

5k for injectors? Youve got to be kidding.

What do performance injectors cost?

 

Ran me about $4000, and that was with 6 injectors, new tubes, and a relief valve installed.

 

I have a 06 5.6 dealer replace 2 stock injectors and the bill was almost 1300 parts and labor

 

Hmmm, i was considering a third gen...I just better keep my ol 12V and put some work into it.

 

04.5 dodges have a 7/70,000 drivetrain and 7/100,000 cummins warranty mine just got the trans done and lift pump and some gaskets replaced no charge the factory warranty is why i bought the truck new in 04

 

How many miles on it? Contact a cummins authorized dealer. What makes you think the injectors are going out? You can do the work yourself for about 2400.!!
