ok well to start off i am in the army and just came down on orders sending me to alaska well the other day i was looking on my truck for the block heater cord and i crawled all over this truck looking for it and couldnt find it and i know i will need it were i am headed and this was to my knowledge that every cummins came with the heater any help will be great

The heater is standard, but u have to buy the cord.

My understanding is it depends where the truck was originally shipped. Cord has been standard in many areas, but if truck came out of Texas or Louisiana, it might not have the cord.

you can get the cord off ebay for like 15 bucks

maybe you will have a look at those webasto "Blue heat" engine and cab heaters too. 17000BTU heat up your truck engine and cab within 30 minutes up to operating temps.
Once you have it you never won't go without.

Yeah an Espar or Webasto hydronic water heater is a thing of beauty.

yeah i really dont want to go but what can you do about it when you work for uncle sam i am happy here on fort hood but that didnt last long enough to me
