My truck is missing while it's idling. Also, when I push the throttle, it takes a long time to come down to idling rpms, missing the whole way. When the AC is on it idles fine. It runs and pulls good down the highway. The injectors are all working fine and its not showing any codes. I've taken it to a dealership and 3 or 4 mechanics and nobody can figure out what the deal is. Any help would be appreciated!

Engine damage, harness or electronics issue, or a bad injector. Start where you want but pretty sure its going to be in one of those areas. Since you have no codes I doubt its a harness issue but ECU's can be finicky buggers. However, way more often than not its an injector not perfroing correctly that ECU cannot sense, ie hard part failure.

How do you KNOW the injectors are working fine? Are they brand new Bosch injectors? If not well.... there is a starting point.

 

There is a small group of wires up around the compressor that rubs bare. Douse the area with brake parts cleaner, remove the tape around the wires and find the bare wire. Patch with liquid electrical tape, and zip tie a piece of wire loom around the wires.
