My daughter's at Vanderbilt in Nashville and I'd like to have the opportunity to drive there on vacation. I just don't know if they'd let me pull my truck and personal bedroom through town...... Since the truck rides so comfortably, I'd like to make the trip.

I usually try to go to NAS Corpus Christi. They have a real nice RV park right on the water.

We live in the WestCreek area, outside Loop 1604 and close to Sea World, so the trip to Corpus isn't too long.

Semper Fi,

Thanks GWDriver! We just picked up the RV used this past summer and have been loving it. We are in Boerne just a few miles up the road from you. The TN trip was a great trip. From here we stopped in Little Rock and camped overnight then on to Knoxville the next day. It is an awesome drive up through the hills. We have not stayed in Corpus yet, we have stayed in the Rock Port area a few times. We want to go down to the coast this year for July 4th. Maybe we will look into staying in Corpus this time. My wife and I want to find a place on the water. Go hook up your RV and head to Nashville, you can drop off the bedroom outside of town before you go in to see your daughter. It is a great drive and I bet your daughter would love to see you. My daughter is going to North West Vista in San Antonio and then transferring to UT in Austin. Even though it is still so close to us I dread when she moves to Austin. She is getting a criminal justice degree with aspirations on becoming a Game Warden.
Thanks,
Nick

NickH,

Northwest Vista is around the corner from us, just inside the loop. We're just outside the loop. My Nephew (Army Blackhawk pilot) and his wife (also a Blackhawk Pilot) are both in school now up near Temple. He wants to be a coach and she has already been hired by Fish & Game as a vet and will be flying helos with them as well.

The Nephew drives a '05 RAM 2500 but his wife (the Boss) drives the RAM 3500. Tiny skinny girl, but big on guts and drive.

We stayed AT Little Rock AFB our last time through.

Gotta take the truck to Nashville now.........

2006 ram 2500. The mega cab's new to me just a couple months and the 99 2500 had to go (sadly) due to room issues with the kids.
