so when i shut my truck off it makes a weird knock, it doesnt do it in the morning only after it gets warmed up. What baffels me is that it hasnt affected the performance or any other aspect of my truck. Any advice woud be much appreciated.

i would say it sounds like a caterpillar

the modifications are a banks intake an the exhaust with exhaust brake
sounds like it might be coming off the turbo, rather the right side of the engine.

 

I was always told it was from shutting the truck down when it was too hot.

Are you letting the truck cool down before shutting it off.

I don't know alot, but just throwing out the easy stuff before you open the hood.
