Replace the gov solenoid with one of the aftermarket units and save yourself some headaches. The OEM's are junk and sometimes do not play well with shift kits.
Unless you are getting codes the TTVA motor is probably fine. Its an expensive bugger and you don't WANT to replace it needlessly. For anybody with the TV motor a DTT shift enhancer is good investment to be able to control your TV pressures and handle TQ management reductions. On these newer 48RE's they are almost as needed as the shift kits when you start making power or doing a lot of towing.
