Anyone here ever ran a 2nd gen camper shell on a 3rd gen truck? Will it fit? And does anyone have any pictures? Wife found a 2nd gen camper shell for 300, but I don't want to get it if it's not going to fit right, or screw up the back of the cab. Any input would be appreciated.

 

I sold a 2nd gen cap last year, and had a guy with a 3rd gen come look at it, it fit onto the bed great but the cab on his truck was about 4-6 inches to tall, so it will fit, but it will look wierd because of the step down from the cab to the cap.
