light haze from tail pipe
.I have a 2004.5 2500 bone stock cummins truck it has 100280 miles on it. At night when im stopped at a stop light when i take off in the head lights of the car behind me i see a light haze from tail pipe. Im not putting my foot in to it when it does this. Even at 55 and 60 mph if you ease in to the peddle it wiil do it to. You cant see this haze during the day only at nite Have any of you guys noticed this on your truck. or is there something wrong with my truck. Maybe im just paranoid cause i just bought this truck.
welcome to diesel bombers a good place to be and personally i would be alright with it now somebody else might have something different to say from here but thats what this site is all about to help you find the answer your looking for
About three days ago i filled up. the fuel gauge is at 3/4 tank. could it be the fuel? the truck has been doing this for a while and i pretty much fuel up at the same place all the time.

mine will do it when stock only under load, but i'd change fuel filters, check air filter, change it too, and go from there, change the oil, normal maintenance kind of things before you jump to any conclusions
she fires rite up with no problems. we have been in the low thirties in the morning and it starts rite up no studdering or skipping.
i just read another thread and there are some posts that say there truck lets off a little haze to. i dont know i just hope nothing is wrong with my truck.
