I have a 2003 cummins cr .It surges a little when it is programed in performance mode with super chips .It also has k&n cold air intake and PTC billet torque converter. has anyone had a simular problem. Fuel milage has also lost about 4 mpg.thank you for an help !

 

Your draining the rail. By that I mean the CP3 can't keep up with the fueling demand. Need a new fuel pump and or a bigger CP3.

 

I think your talking about full throttle then you let off and the truck keeps going?! If so that is normal. It takes a second or two for the rail pressure to come back down. scary if you have to suddenly stop always think ahead!
