How hard would it be to swap a diesel into a gas pickup? What all would be involved? I figured on buying a wrecked 06 to take the motor, wiring computers off, ect... How much how hard will this bee? and excluding the price of the 2 trucks themselves how much is it gonna cost?

 

If you have two 06 trucks, you should have everything you need. I wouldn't want to tackle that project though, there will be lot's of wiring to change out between the two trucks. 06's use can bus between the 60 something different computers on the truck, and gassers are wired different than the diesels between some of these computers.

Unless you get a screaming deal on a wrecked 06, have a lot of time on your hands, and are very familiar with the pcm functions between the two, I think you would be way ahead to trade into a different pickup.
