Unhappy Gauge Issue

Something new started with the truck about a week ago and it does it when the truck is moving or parked. All of the gauges except the tach and speedo or the ones I installed... ie fuel volt oil temp stop workin for a second or less. Sometimes it's just the fuel gauge itself. It's like the cluster loses signal or power? But the tach and speedo are fine? I dunno, any input?

Possible loose ground inside the gauge cluster. do you notice if the lights on the dash go out as well?

Lights are not effected when it happens. The low fuel light comes on since the gauge says E but the check gauges light doesn't come on when it says no volt or oil pressure so I dunno what's up with this damn truck. Also I noticed when I shut the truck off and then turned the lights off after to activate the headlights to stay on for a min, they shut off like normal and the trucks tail lights stayed on and would not turn off (30 mins later) until i cycled the key on and off.

No seriously, i would check for codes to make sure it isnt something with the ecm sending signals...and pull the cluster and check for loose wires in there

My 06 is doing the same thing but its just the tach. Sometimes it works and sometime i'm running 300 rpms lower than normal. I talk to a good friend at dodge and he said that the cluster more than likely will have to be replaced. it like $300 to $500 buck with the core charge ( meaning your old cluster) like 60 to program it to your truck and what every the labor my be to install it. It also come with a 1 year warrenty from dodge on the new cluster. Hopefully this can help you out some.
